Marriage Muhurtham 2027 in Vijayawada
Every auspicious marriage date in 2027 for Vijayawada, with the exact time each muhurtham starts and ends. The dates follow Muhurta Chintamani: the right nakshatra, tithi and weekday for the wedding (the moment of the mangalsutra or the kanyadaan, as your family follows), and none of the seasons the texts avoid. Months follow the Telugu and Kannada panchangam (Chandramana), as Telugu and Kannada families use.

Rules used for marriage
- Nakshatras: Rohini, Mrigashira, Magha, Uttara Phalguni, Hasta, Swati, Anuradha, Mula, Uttara Ashadha, Uttara Bhadrapada, Revati.
- Weekdays: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (also Saturday, Sunday, as Madhyama).
- Always left out: Amavasya, Shukla Pratipada, Rikta tithis (Chaturthi, Navami, Chaturdashi), Krishna Ekadashi onwards, Dagdha tithis, Vishti (Bhadra) karana, all nine inauspicious yogas, the hours around a Sankranti, and 3 days either side of an eclipse.
- Lunar months: Vaishakha, Jyeshtha, Shravana, Kartika, Margashirsha, Magha, Phalguna, as in the Telugu and Kannada panchangam (Chandramana). Shravana, Kartika and Margashirsha weddings are allowed; Chaturmas and Dhanurmasa are North Indian customs and are not applied.
- Seasons avoided: Guru asta, Shukra asta, Adhika masa, Pitru paksha, Simha Guru.
- For a wedding we also check Guru bala for the bride and Surya bala for the groom, and keep the 7th and 8th houses of the lagna empty.
Times are for Vijayawada (India time). A Hindu day runs from sunrise to sunrise, so a time before sunrise belongs to the day before. Muhurtham is calculated from classical Jyotish rules using precise planetary positions for your city. Regional traditions vary, so please confirm with your family priest.
Questions
Is the date list enough to fix the muhurtham?
The list gives the good days for everyone in Vijayawada. The exact muhurtham also depends on the lagna at that minute and on the Tara bala and Chandra bala of the bride and groom. The personal muhurtham checks all of these and gives the best minute of each date.
What do Uttama and Madhyama mean?
Uttama means every rule is met. Madhyama means the time is acceptable but one item is not the best, for example a Saturday, or a Krishna Shashthi to Dashami tithi. The reason is shown under the time.
Why do other calendars show different dates?
Published lists often differ from each other. Some count Rikta tithis (Chaturthi, Navami, Chaturdashi), Bhadra karana or the days around an eclipse, which Muhurta Chintamani avoids. Others follow a different regional custom for the months. This page follows the Telugu and Kannada panchangam (Chandramana); the personal muhurtham lets you choose your family's tradition. We do not relax a rule to add dates: every listed time passes every rule for marriage.
